Maybe, just maybe, the state needs to re-evaluate what unemployed workers need to do to prove they deserve to receive Unemployment benefits. I think it’s ridiculous how little that is required for someone to receive benefits yet the employers need to jump through hoops to show that the employee was discharged for cause or other reasons. It’s not just a SC problem as many other states have solvency issues as well.
