Even though Gulf Park won’t be the primary campus, it is necessary to maintain that campus in order to retain ownership under the terms of receiving it 40+ years ago. Also, it is important to continue the Southern Miss branch on the Gulf Coast where they have 2,000 students and could have 6,000 in 10 years.
