This suit should be defeneded. The cause of death to the firefighters was incompetent fire management coupled with poor training and bad judgement. The firemen were walking too close to a flaming wall when it collapesed on them. The building was fully engulfed and no one was inside. There was no reason for them to do anything more than contain the fire (from a safe distance. They assumed the risk of fighting fires. The business owner did not torch his building and should have no liability. The furniture manufacturers have no liability. If anyone has liability due to negligence it’s the city.
