    are we sure someone threw it into the veh? because i someone threw it in my veh, i think i would have jumped out of the vehicle. was there any witnesses? it’s very serious when you talk about burns. i wonder, instead of him working was it possible that he was playing with his friends and fireworks and got burnt.

    Okay – let me start out by saying this is a horrible thing and if the story is accurate those punks, if caught, should be punished.

    Why is this in IJ? Is it because he was working a summer job to pay for insurance? Or, because now he may be eligable for WC, if it really happened on the job?

    Vote for the party of hope & change. There will be no fireworks and free government health insurance for all plus a crime victim reimbursement check for innocent victims of firework accidents.

    I hate to state the obvious, but if he stopped to ask for directions, wouldn’t the person he was talking to have seen the whole thing? Maybe it’s just me….

    This morning on the news there was a story about a person in my area who was tending to things outside his place of business and was shot for no reason. Looks like he’s going to survive. But police have absolutely no clue as to motive.

    This poor kid’s situation sounds similar, just attacked out of the blue… Burns are the worst as far as pain, infection, difficulty in healing, scarring.

    But what is WRONG with some people who just go out and attack someone? Has science narrowed it down to a particular code in a person’s DNA? Normal people just don’t do this kind of thing unprovoked.

    I can’t understand it. I can’t begin to wrap my mind around the possible thought processes of a person who would do something like that. WTF?

    It was probably the person he was asking for directions.

    “Hope” died a few years ago, it was in all the papers;

    “Change” is that stuff I carry in my pockets, which is ALL we’ll have if that particular mantra wins the White House.

    We will all be suffering from burn trauma if your ‘Hope & Change’ candidate wins.
