There are places that still allow legally riding in pickup beds? I thought that was outlawed when everyone put in mandatory seatbelt laws. I learn something new every day.
This govurmint of ours should let us be! What’s next? Outlawing twelve year olds smokin priveliges? If we don’t stop em now, they will take away my kids guns and stuff next.
Hillbilly’s and their kids have been riding in the back of pick-ups for decades without it being a major problem. I agree that restricting it on major highways might be a good idea just because if one flips over, the sight of all that blood and guts will freak out the folks from up North driving their luxury cars. But on secondary roads, who gives a damn? Getting tossed on your thick skull on a dirt road in jerkwater USA is a rite of passage.
I agree, what’s the problem? It’s called natural selection. Hill Billy’s die in accidents because they were dumb enough to sit in the back of an open truck bed. They don’t reproduce to make more Hill Billiy’s. Works for me. :)

If its not illegal,it should be.I saw a teenager fall out of a truck bed when i was young and die on the road.

Its not the government’s place to make decisions for any adult on weather they want to risk injury or not.
