How crazy is it that one of the largest lakes in the country is on fire. If the government had not drained billions of gallons a day from the lake into the Caloosahatchee river over the last 3 years, there might be enough water in the lake to keep the bottom from burning. So much for regular water releases. break out the smoke hoods.
