    This is West Virgina though.

I say keep ’em off the flood barrier and for all else let natural selection run its course.

um…next thing we will ban is the use of skateboards and skates on the sidewalk because they cause wear and tear. um…

what were we thinking of? granted having not protective gear, is a no-no. putting kids on handlebars also a no-no. but if they sit on the seat whether front of back w/protective gear, this should be ok. a responsible adult will be or should be driving the atv on the roadways anyways.

I think the number of people who have died riding an ATV in the state gives us a good idea why they want to ban ATV’s in the city along with the fact that it is causing erosion which affects more people than just the ATV riders. This is exactly the reason most companies do not like insuring ATV’s, the severe injuries, death and the lack of responsibltiy riding them!

I know what to do: Ban all smoking cause it kills, ban all alcohol cause it kills, ban wars cause it kills, ban speeding cause it kills, ban hopspital mistakes cause it kills, ban all drugs cause it kills, there we have fixed all the little things and can no go to big killers like ATV’s.

I am not familiar with the laws of WV, but most places have a rule requiring motor vehicles that are used on the roads to be registered and driven by lisenced drivers….this should apply to ATV’s as well. If the vehicle has is registered ( which means its also insured ) and has all its lights, turn signals, etc, and the driver is a legal driver, he should be able to drive on any public road. If that’s not the case, he should be cited. We don’t need more laws, just enforcement of the current ones.
