Hey: sorry about your luck, Kentuckians, but if you bothered with taking care of yourselves and actually looking at your homeowners insurance policies, you would have purchased adequate coverage. Maybe your agent didn’t remind you to reevaluate the limits of your policy; well fire him/her and get a qualified agent instead. But PLEASE: don’t expect the ‘government’ to step in and bale out YOUR bad decisions!

You think as a judge, he would have more intelligence than that. Sounds like the qualifications to be a judge in Kentucky is to have passed the 6th grade. When will these people learn to take care of themselves and quit relying on the government to bail them out. $30,000 coverage limits? What are these people thinking? This judge should be impeached or sent back to junior high school to finish his education. Also, talk about a slanted article blasting FEMA but placing no responsibility on the victims.
