well, this is the problem…the state does not want to touch it’s money to take care of the problem. i bet that the problem is not as big as it claims to be. if they got to use the gov’t funds, they probably would not have to incr rates on property tax to help w/the damage caused by the storms. why does the state not have insurance for this reason?
I’m so sick of state authorities declaring “disasters” everytime there’s a moderate storm. Quit crying wolf, quit looking for federal bail-outs unless it’s truly needed.
