Allstate will file file for re-hearing or provide the documents, wont leave Florida because its still profitable to them. The Leaving the state idea isnt an option for them.

Do you know any easier way to exit a state than non compliance with a subpoena so the state kicks you out???

The company didnt have a problem leaving the state of Massachusetts when they decided to control rating 10 years ago. Or even the state of Conneticut for hurricane risk management. Florida is probably the riskiest in the country for both auto and homeowners.Agreed? And they still have already provided more than 150,000 pages worth of information to justify their cause. What more do they want? Sounds to me that the state is giving them the boot.

Their agents are already pretty much independent agents anyway. They have 3 or 4 companies for home insurance and even more than that for writing commercial insurance. I’m sure agents wouldn’t have a problem finding companies to write auto through should Allstate leave Florida.

They will have a problem replacing the coverage for clients at the same cost.
