I have known Don for 30 some years. Although I have not had contact with him in the last ten years, I cannot believe he had any thing to do with this. Don is one of the most trusting and somewhat naive individuals I have ever known. I am willing to bet he was duped or is a pasty in this.

I have known Don since 1980, I do not think for one minute he is guilty! I agree with the first writer, he has to be the patsy in this, not knowing what he was a part of. He lives modestly & is the perfect father & husband. Our sons go to club scouts together & church. I feel he had to have been used by these other people. As he is a trusting sincere man. Not making excuses for him, I just know & believe in him! He is simple man, who I could never believe to hurt or defraud anyone!

Don Touchet is the kindest, most respectable man. I would trust him with my life – and my money! There is no way that he is capable of this. I am sorry that someone took advantage of Don. He is very humble and honest. I am sure this is one of those times that he places his head in his hands and just grieves. I worked for Don for some time during 1989. He worked hard for what he needed to support his family. He is like a father to me, and agood friend.

Prayers for you, Brother Touchet! We love you. We believe in you! Don’t doubt – Psalms 46:10

    Re: Don Touchet

I have known Don over 17 years and have trusted him like a brother. I know he does not have a dishonest bone in his body and someone is out to get him and his family.

Don Touchet, has always been filled with kindness toward those of his community. I am so very grateful for his commitment to scouting and living a morally clean life. His sincere and loving approach with our sons, now eagle scouts, was phenomenal. I can not say enough to show my appreciation for his commitment to choose the right. I am deeply moved to prayer for him and his family. May the pure love of our father in heaven give you peace at this time. We will never forget you and we will always include you in our prayers.

I am Don’s cousin who has known him through many years. He has not been in touch with me for a while, though. Now tonite I stumble upon Donald’s fate while surfing the net. I am in tears! I echo what the others are saying…that Donald is just too kindhearted and too honest to knowingly defraud others…something is very fishy here. Someone like Don just doesn’t belong in prison, especially a prison so far from his home! Yes, I WOULD trust him with my life or money! You and your family are in my prayers, Don

Sorry feds, you really got this one wrong. You are supposed to be professional enough to seek and see all the facts and not tinge them with your jaded glasses. Shame on you trying to make names for yourselves. Here it is again, the innocent accountant gets used and wrongly convicted. Find where the money ended up and you will find the guilty. Don did not end up with the $38 million. He was paid for his services. Who has the lions share? Ahhh, is it starting to make sense? Don is a very humble, honest man, but you would never believe that any more after all these years in federal court. The truth will come out.

Well said, Gregg!! I agree 100%. Now Don’s got to take the fall, while some convicted murderers or rapists get out in 10 years or less, then harm another victim. What is our system coming to?

I have been writing to Don at the Jacksonville jail once a week. Each time, I copy some of your comments into my letter, sending him a few each time. Don wishes to tell you that all of your WONDERFUL WORDS of SUPPORT have deeply moved him and given him so much comfort and peace amid a difficult situation.. Keep writing folks, and I’ll keep passing your words on to Don!!! Thank you again everyone!!
