The thought that even the candidated don’t know where some of the money originated is pure B.S. Nobody anonymously donates money to a politician without making it clear who it was. Mississippi is the land time forgot in terms of passing legislation to prevent this type of abuse. It’s solution: “take the candidates at their word.” Mississippi continue to be an incestuous snake-pit run by the good old boy network.

“It’s obscene to spend that much money on an election for a job that pays less than $100,000 a year,” Chaney said, “and you try to be impartial and you know much of the money comes from the business side.”

Great Line…Pure Hogwash, but …Great Line!

It’s obscene to spend that much money for a job that pays $100,000? What about our presidential candidates who are spending their millions for a job that pays $400,000?

I saw something recently that someone was going to propose a constitutional amendment that said that anyone who was willing to do what it took to get elected President should be forever banned from the office. They were just joking, but it sounds about right for most elected offices in this country any more.
