Where did they come up with this figure? If she had lived she would have cost them a lot more in Medicar, etc… than 750k. How do they place that kind of value on a 76 year old sick woman??

1) Florida
2) Deceased very likely member of disadvantaged demographic
3) Lawyer has to get paid (a lot)and was most likely a big billboard advertizer (like the Taggert firm, for instance)

this is another classic example why our legal system sucks. Everybody gets paid. Liability doesn’t matter.
