Gee, now let’s see who’s fault this is…

Did the developer have to submit any type of plans when first proposing the building of this subdivision?

Did the state/county approve the development? Why would the state/county approve a devlopment on an old bombing range?

Did the developer know that the site had been used as a bomb range during WWII?

Did the state/county know that the site had been used as a bomb range during WWII?

If the state/county had known that it had been a bomb range durring WWII, didn’t they have the responsibility to advise the developer that the site had been used as a bomb range?

If neither the state/county or the developer knew that the site had been used as a bomb range, how can the developer be held liable?

Bottom line I think the state/county knew and saw this as a oppurtunity to develope some marginal land, furthering the economic development in the state. No thought at all was given by the state to the fact that there may be unexploded ordinance.

I think they should sue Germany and Japan – I mean after all had we not been pulled into WWII by the Axis powers, there would have been no bomb range – PROXIMATE CAUSE???

For those who think I might be serious, this is a satirical account of our current legal system.

Don’t forget the Allied Forces prior to our entry, and we have to add Italy into the Axis Powers. Had the Allied European forces been able to take care of their own bloody business we wouldn’t have had to clean up the mess.

And throw in Bush. His Dad was a WWII pilot; I’m sure he had something to do with this.

    I love satire and sarcasm.

Mitt Romney can afford to help these folks…let him pay for it. After all, he says he cares about America…

Think about it. Whoever MADE the bombs should be sued because the bombs didn’t go off when they were supposed to.

    Bambi,

That’s a great idea but the state has already told Allstate that they can’t write any new business. Gee what a shame… I’m sure Allstate is just so upset about that.

You know it wasn’t the bomb manufacture’s problem. It was the improper training that the crews had. They propably didn’t arm the bombs properly.

So now where does that put us?

Fly a sortie over the area, blow everything up, push the dirt back in the hole, start over. The ordinance should be gone by then.

BLAME AL GORE—EXPLODING THE BOMBS BEFORE DEVELOPING THE LAND WOULD HAVE INCREASED GLOBAL WARMING!
