“Whatever you focus on you get”. Wouldn’t you tend to stay away from the orchestra pit if you were in a Panda costume knowing your line of sight was compromised? You’ve got to be kidding? One clumsy person in a Panda suit takes a fall and there’s a federal investigation? This must happen what……..once every 20-30 years. If it wasn’t an orchestra pit it would have been the edge of the stage. Maybe they should attach cables to all Panda dancers to prevent this in the future.

It’s a sad incident, though. 17 years old and your mobility is impaired for a season or maybe even permanently. You’d think they’d have older, INSURED people working these costumes. The liability laden society we live in made this case an obvious jackpot grab. I think we know where this is headed — Frivolous Lawsuit Alley involving The Fox, The School, The Teacher, The Janitors, the author of the Nutcracker, etc., etc.
