How can you have an activation of a pre-exsisting condition?

first of all, this is probably not the first time he has landed or taken off from this airport. secondly, all pilot have a copy of the airport and assigned runways. part of his checklist is having that piece of the puzzle.

with all the medical bills piling on, he’s looking for a handout! i bet that the other folks (relatives of those whom died, did not sue the airport nor runway designer. it truly sounds like the pilot did not want to confess he made an error, but in reality, he’ll remember that day for the rest of his life.

Could have been a condition that went into remission or was dormant which no longer caused him discomfort or impacted his life or had previously been managable but now became too severe to be treated.

Arthritis could be an example. He may have had arthritis since his 20’s let’s say. But it didn’t cause him much discomfort and what pain he did experience was managable with aspirin. Now that he’s had bone (and probably joint) injuries the arthritis is much worse, impacts his life, and is no longer easily managable.

There must be a competent agency available to determine their inncence or guilt without the burden to our main judicial courts . A sub-court dedicated to this specific problem within our country of illegals could help .
As soon as an arrest is made inform them of their rights to submit to questioning with a translator available . Acquire name, address and give them one chance to offer facts not fiction . If they state or are proven ,they are illegal go directly to the address with person in question and acquire all material possessions.
If roommates or others are living there make certain they are made aware of the intent .If they participate and cooperate ,good ,if not remove all materials from said residence .If found guilty sell items or donate items to help pay for the cost of housing and deportation.
Freeze all bank accounts ,if available .Return all monies made during the illegal stay in this country to the person they stole the identification from and pay all bills incured from the illegals stay in this country.
These illegals cost each true American thousands of dollars , claiming the want of a better life.
Yet ,they disrespect and spite the lives and laws of those that have worked and saved and strive to make our country what it is . A land of opportunity for those who live legally in this country should not bear the burden of those who do and commit illegal acts against those who live legally .
Most people are willing to help their neighbor , Most will not help a neighbor who is going to commit an illegal act .
Send these illegals home ,with as little burden as possible to Americans.
Border control is not for those who are easily bribed .

Now, let’s see. The main runway lights were working (except for the middle row) but the pilot (found responsible by the NTSB)took off on the runway without lights. How does the supposed poorly designed lights on the proper runway have to do with a take off from a runway with no lights.

Let’s try to dig into the deep pockets, where ever they may be.

You are so typical. Your hatred is so great you are blinded even to knowing on which blog you should be writing your neo-nazi hatred. Radicals like yourself are worse than any illegal could even think of being. If given the choice, I would pick a hundred illegals trying to make a life for themselves to one of your ilk.

Talk about liability theory stretching it a lot and trying to seek the deepest pockets. Yes, this co-pilot is a scumbag. He’s at fault for this accident and I hope it does haunt him for the rest of his life. I say all this only because he is suing someone else for his own lack of personal responsibility and accountibility.

The aggravation of a pre-existing condition is a way for the blood-sucking attorneys to make a higher demand. He likely had a claim before where he sustained an injury, such as a car accident. It makes sense as he sure as he** could not drive an airplane, either.

    Bottom Line – bogus
