but State Farm Has to Pay for Wind Damage ESPECIALLY when there is proof. So please don’t act like they are so generous in doing us a favor.
It’s like PEEING ON YOUR LEG AND TELLING YOU IT’S ONLY WATER.
FACT: Katrina Winds were 100-200 MPH AND HIT LAND 1 TO 4 HRS BEFORE THE WATER…
Hell it blew the roof off the Superdome in New Orleans and whiped out major cities from LA to MS. True to Form, they waited for their Best Friend to arrive, Mr. Water and they blamed all of the damage on the water. Refusing to pay for wind by blaming the water. Shame on all involved with his crime against your fellow American. No wonder other countries don’t trust us. Look what’s done to one another. It’s wrong.
    FEMA SHOULD SELL HURRICANE INS.
WIND AND WATER DAMAGES ALL IN ONE POLICY.

FEMA should sell Hurricane Ins, the WYO are paying for wind damage under the flood policy and getting away with it.

is that other Florida insurers will have to over-charge, in the form of an assessment, for Citizen’s surplus shortfall. It’s funny the type of voluntary market surcharge Kevin McCarty will ultimately choose to overlook.

This article is misleading at best. United will not be refunding $43 Million to anyone, the number is more like $14-$15 million. The $43m is based on all of the policies renewing with the higher rates. This obviously did not happen so those folks will not be getting a refund, they found cheaper insurance somewhere else.
This article is about Florida based United P&C, NOT about flood, wind, Mississippi or Louisiana. Why are we talking about it?
