Expert: Coastal Overdevelopment Will Worsen Fla.’s Insurance Woes

    The builders / developers / owners of such property should be barred from insurance coverage – maybe that will stop the bleeding of the public who ultimately pays for this irresponsible lifestyle.

    If they\’re wealthy enough to afford the property – they need to foot the bill themselves

    Once burnt, twice a fool – it doesn\’t take a rocket scientist to see what has happened historically in these wind / hurricane prone areas. They need to pay the price on both ends

    Don\’t expect Crist to be rational when it comes to insurance. Thanks to him, coastal homeowners now pay less on their wind premiums than before, while propertionately, inland policy holders pay more!
