but… but… it says \”WIND\” driven storm surge.

Perhaps people should pay attention when buying their policies instead of talking on the cellphone to Aunt Midge and yelling at the kids they brought into the office with them… maybe they should listen to the agent who is explaining their COVERAGE (or lack thereof)…

ignorance (or claiming they weren\’t told) is not a valid excuse…

I hope I pass the quiz tomorrow. Can you tell me how many questions will be on it? :)

    Jewel,

There will be a grand total of four questions, but this will not be a multiple choice test, so put on your thinking caps.

Be sure to make time in your schedule.

Okay, I am ready for the test. I will study tonight and repeat the mantra.

I hope I don\’t ruin the curve for everyone else. ;)

I think Mark is just frustrated at all the people who didn\’t purchase flood and are complaining about it now.

I do understand where you are coming from though. How did your agent explain the coverage? Did they explain flood insurance? Why didn\’t you purchase that as well?

I am not sure what you can do, but if the agent misrepresented the product or \”lied\” to you, I hope you can do something about that…

Anyone have any HELPFUL information for ed?

    Mark, you hush ;)

I don\’t think Mark meant to belittle your situation, that\’s not his style. But so many are complaining about flood not being covered, when it never has been part of the HO contract in any jurisdiction, is does get frustrating. I cannot imagine that an agent would tell anyone the flood, storm surge, whatever you want to call it, is covered. But if that is indeed the case, I hope you find a remedy for your situation.

By the way unemployedjoe, did your top secret sources tell you why Lott settled his claim before it went to trial? If not, I would be glad to educate you.

Please don\’t pick up this bad habit of Melanie\’s. Cut\’n\’paste is easy for you, so I too will repeat myself from another post: Were you flooded up to 5 ft and without a flood policy? SOL.
