Covenant is a fine organization that has apparently suffered from someone\’s very poor judgement. I suspect Covenant\’s employee benefit plan for their drivers is far superior to TN WC benefits — likely the reason for someone\’s erroneous attempt to exclude WC. I\’d really hate to think otherwise. Covenant drivers are some of the few I don\’t worry about as I share the freeways with them.
    Even HR can make mistakes….

paying comp claims \”….having employees sign a fake form that purports to waive their workers\’ compensation …\”

What faith is this that seeks to deceive their workers into believing they are not entitled to compensation due to work place injuries in this day and age.

Pat Robertson is their weather forecaster? Oral Roberts does HR or is it that creep out west into all those sinful activities? Jim Bakker is in charge of time-sharing and vacations? Tammy is in in charge of make-up and condo purchasing?Jerry Falwell passes on the ethics of everything? Legal advice is provided by the recently resigned woman in the Justice Department in charge of the federal prosecutor selections? (She is from Pat\’s university law school–I use all three of those three wrods advisedly. She of course announced plans to take the fifth in the Alberto Gonzalez fiasco. There are 150 more people in the Bush-league administration from that same alleged institute of higher learning. No wonder the country \”don\’t run right.\”

I suppose they will end up in the hell they imagine–at least in their own minds. Call it a test of faith.

Holy, holy, holy…corruption almighty. Wake up and smell (this particular brand of) the Christians. I am beginning to feel like an ancient Roman pagan, except these people just can\’t wait to wage war and serve in the military….send them to the frontiers, Trajan!

Propserity Christianity has no room for charity. Hmm..\”covenant\”, just like those people of the Old Testament. How ironic, on so many levels. You can\’t make this stuff up. Such complexities can only arise from inteliigent design–and he is apparently quite a prankster with a great sense of humor.
