I feel for the family affected by this situation. We, as a society, have let such people down by employing tort reform as the answer to all of our problems. The reasoning has always been about frivolous lawsuits, but they are just a minority. If we truly want to make a difference, then we should try to eliminate the problems at the source rather then in the courts. Once the problem has been created, then it\’s too late.
