Chris you forgot to mention that his lawyers will also sue the Architect of the building, the Owner/Developer of the building and the GC as, of course, they built the building incorrectly and in the wrong place which caused this man to drive into the building in the first place.

How long did he have to wait for the adjuster to show up?

He is suing the building owner for not having the proper buffers in to prevent this type of incident. He is also suing for negligence for not having signs indication to apply the brakes and not the accelerator. They are also contemplating suing the auto manufacturer for not clearly marking the brake and accelerator. I just wanted to answer for all the lawyers out there.

I would love to start a news letter, but due to the subject nature i would fear having a gang of lawyers file charges on me for slander.

I thought we were unique. We had a similiar incident hapopen at our agency in Hudson Florida a couple years back. An elderly gentleman drove through our front window, again breaking glass and throwing bricks about 2 feet from my employees. The best part was he then backed back out and proceeded to go into the barber shop next door to get his haircut. My wife had to go over and tell him he needed to come see us. ( He was in a bit of shock I think) I told the wife we should take the picture of the van sticking out of our business and use it for advertising. She didnt think it was funny. No one was hurt but we decided we did not like the idea of a Drive-in Agency.

Chris, I thought slander was when you told an untruth without confronting the individual. From what I read, you are on the mark!! Let us know your subscription rates!
