The almighty Mr. Hood has the power to get Congress to investigate the insurance industry, and by God, if they don\’t start paying ALL of these claims, they\’re gonna be in a world of hurt!

    Oooooh, I\’m so scared!

If Hood had such a damning case for State Farm, why would he drop the investigation as part of the settlement? He should be prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law. He had already started a grand jury investigation, why not see where that goes? Aparently, it was not going well. We\’ll never know.

Hood is simply out to grandstand in front of the citizens of Mississippi for political gain. It reminds me of a prosecuting attorney in North Carolina…

God save us all! With looney tunes like this getting elected, calling the shots and twisting the facts with a complicite media – this country is toast. SOMEONE PLEASE CLOSE ALL OF THE ‘LAW SCHOOLS\’, none of them can read a ‘contract\’ anyway!

Having a home on or near the coast and NOT buying adequate (or any!) flood insurance – then filing a claim, is no different than buying auto liability insurance (only) for your car, getting into an accident and then filing a physical damage claim.

And to top it all off, Hood thinks that rates won\’t (and shouldn\’t) go up! I want some of whatever he\’s smoking.

Lastly, I can\’t wait to hear why I should (in Chicago) continue – to an even greater extent – subsidize those who choose to live in harm\’s way, through my taxes and higher premiums.
