I sure hope he has a background in insurance because most of the employees of Citizens are sorely lacking for intelligence in insurance. I also hope that he can make changes in the way they do business. They are the WORST!

Linda, please tell us how you really feel! Citizens cannot be good or bad, only the people who work there can be decsribed that way. IF they are the \”worst\” as you describe them, then that means everyone that works there must be lacking in intelligence, and we know that is not true. Instead of just attacking someone or something, why don\’t you come up with some constructive criticism that would be beneficial to future improvement of the services supplied by Citizens. Either that or just don\’t say anything at all.

Scott Wallace is a highly intelligent, hard working man with a strong insurance background and good common sense. He is respected by all and sets a positive example to all. He has been with Citizens for a short time and has researched every inch of every department and has initiated many excellent changes. He is someone who can make a positive difference. This company and the employees have worked very hard to meet the gigantic growth needs that occurred almost overnight. The company has mandates by the legislature and claims history that could never have been imagined. There are departments that have had 3 years of mandatory overtime to keep up with the growth demands. Many employees have made many sacrifices in order to serve. There is a true care abd compassion for the needs of the comsumers and agents. Training classes have been conducted month after month to meet the growth demands. We are starting to finally get into a position of being properly staffed and trained – don\’t give up yet! It is disheartening to hear the criticism. The legislature and Citizens will work together to make this a wonderful service to consumers until the insurance companies are willing to write coverage in Florida again!
