If I had State Farm as my neighbor. I\’d move! I dealt with them and Farmers after the May 3rd tornadoes in Oklahoma. The way they conduct themselves is more like organized crime than as legitimate insurance companies. It\’s simple the insured pays a premium to transfer the risk. The risk is transfered. A loss occurs. Pay the claim. It is just the most deplorable behavior to claim that the carriers are just showing good claim practices when they attempt to legally cheat the insured\’s out of the money they are owed. I dealt with both carrier\’s experts. Both would make grand statements not supported by their trade or the meteorological data available.

No business can thrive or even survive if its contracts are negated willy-nilly. The people of Mississippi have chosen to attempt to do that. If the exclusion for flood whether driven by wind or not is negated, there is no choice but to cover neither.
Premiums for risks undertaken are underwritten based on the contract, not what public opinion cries for after an event. If the contract is negated, the premium charged was insufficient to make the business profitable. When the business is unprofitable the insurance company quits writing the business or leaves the state entirely.

The flood exclusion has not and is not likely to be negated. Judge Senter has been pretty clear about that. But neither can they simply lay off all damages as surge/flood. What is probably on the table is what came first wind or surge and to what degrees they damaged some homes. In my personal case I made a successful claim of substantial damage hours before the surge arrived. Did I receive full compensation for my structure and contents…NO>..and I shouldnt have. But I did recover what was a comenserate amount based on what we could prove.

My point here is that State Farm, and others are simply cherry picking. They want the easy risk business but dont want the business with more risk. I am of the belief that companies if they choose to do business in a state should be obligated to write business throughout the state.

As to the criminal misconduct possibly of State Farm in falsifying engineering reports, that is yet to go to court but I suspect some SF heads are going to roll over this.

Exactly. If the insurance companies want to pull out during risky times then they and their intenties should not be able to ever write in that state ever again.

I hope I win the lottery because I would post banners and advertise factual and unethical issues against this carrier in every state and disclose how some of the humans that work for SF are criminals. I would pay to have them charged like the Eron \”good-ole-boys\”. Oh, sorry, it\’s State Farm – I mean the \”Lesbian Squad\” and \”Menopause Ladies\”. This undeserving female leadership is running the interior of this company, to the ground. It is forcing the brave and mature men of the company with excellent leadership to act like \”***** boys\”. Subservants to the feminist enterprise environment that forces these men of action to manage their people with concepts like \”The squeaky wheel get\’s oil first\”. True manly leadership would lead their people by sayiing \”I will make sure my people never squeak because I will always be providing them with the proper supplies, to do a great job\”!!!

    They Only \”Consider\”….
    Payment for Damages
    Above The Water Line….
    Minus Depreciation
    No Water Line=they pay $0.00
    Loss of Use: Paid $0
    Wind Damage: Paid $0
    EXAMPLE:
    Monthly Rate: $108
    Insured Amt: $50,000
    Policy Ded: $2,000
    Hurricane Ded: $5,000
    $8,000 Deductible $50,000 Policy
Over $1,200 per Year and they denied all Katrina claims….
If they won\’t pay for a category 5,
what makes you think they will pay you for one less than Katrina?

The USA should walk in & freeze State Farm & assets, just like they do Americans that avoid paying Income Tax.

They lied. They Cheated. They Stole…
From the good American Homeowners, who put them in the top 5 USA Companies.

How can anyone allow this, cover this up
    or look the other way?

This is America. This is Our Land!
They can\’t do this to us.

    Ted…
I agree with exposing State Farm, Enron, Good Ole Boys, etal Corruption.
however, sex has nothing to do with this,
Men have dropped the ball and let their wives bring home the bacon.
Women are making more because they are working more & they care about making a difference.
Men are taking naps, because they can.
It is the Men that have been running USA and our country, our families are in deep trouble. We need to put Prozac in the drinking water.
    Everyone is coping…
I find the majority of women are too scared to accept a bribe, so they are more honest then most of the men that have stuffed their pockets for years, making deals in the lobby, hiding behind robes and from the White House to our Bedrooms and not limited to:
Cash in the freezer but re-elected…
Seems Men do not care about honor anymore.
    Money Screams….

Running A business is a cake walk compared to being married to a selfish man….. A nice office, Designer Suits, Gucci Handbags, Lunch & Picking up the tab is much more fun than raising a family and you get paid, rewarded for working outside the home.
Inside, it\’s eat your spinach, take your bath, do your homework, clean your room, your father is not home yet..BlahBlahBlah

Women bring home the bacon, fry it, serve it, clean the mess and provide everything that a man needs from Love, sex, nuturing, and advice from a woman\’s intuition, paying the bills and raising your children. Leave Sex and Race Out of this one.
What do men offer in return?
We are lucky if they come home to eat.

I give you that, I stand corrected. The men in leadership today are not our grandfather\’s father. They stand on the shoulders of past giants. The only reason they think they are successful is because of the process, the check and balance, the engineers nirvana, the redundant check list that makes them succeed. Even a Caveman could do it! as long as the process eliminates their human error, corruption and laziness.
These men and women leaders of today have no idea the kind of men and women that lead this country. They were: God believing, humble, great husbands, wives, mothers and fathers, charitable and mature, with a purpose for the betterment of our country.
Today, these men are immature boys, self-centered, self-seeking, narcissistic that seek to live a criminal professional life and personal life of shame in the shadows. These modern men are just undeveloped, unrefined frat boys, functioning addicts, alcholics, they marry porn stars or at best marry a trophy wife that is as shallow as a stick (paper doll with a painted on smile). If, this kind leadership is in charge of American Enterprise how can we expect anything less from these companies except for these companies to do exactly as a their leaders. Today, these American companies make ignorant, short range, immature and narcissistic decisions.
I wish the good wives of these bad men would light a cigarrette in bed and role and (burn) put the cigarrette out of their husband chest and say: Mister your done, grow up…you…Frat Fag and start working like a God fearing man and with your family and country\’s best interest. If you don\’t I will start making your life a miserable hell!!!
