Maybe with new CFO, either Mr McCarty will have new marching orders or a new job. We need to atract competition to this state not run the companies away.

So what\’s the answer? Palm Beach County is already the \’foreclosure capital\’ and the credit publicly goes to insurance and property tax increases.
When the economy in Fl collapses due to companies/individuals leaving the state because they can\’t afford to live here, then what? We already have a shortage of teachers/police/firefighters due to cost of living here. Do you remember when doctors left due to professional liability premiums? ER\’s closed, Cardio and OB departments closed, hospitals were left with no surgeons, and people died as a result.
I understand that the insurance companies lost their *** here, but the economy can\’t continue to survive if all of the middle and lower income workers can\’t live here.
And yes, I\’m biased because my premiums jumped 150% this year and I will lose my house if it goes up again. I\’m curious to know how you can afford it if you are a S Fla Agent.
