I can say that with my present claim
with State Farm that they do not treat
    their policy holders fairly.
I am a senior citizen, combat disabled
veteran, and poor. I have called Mr.
Rust\’s Office six times and my
complaints are sent right back to the
adjuster in Augusta, GA. My claim
    started in October 2005. Their
contractor came and tore my kitchen
and floor out and now I cannot get
State Farm to do anyrhing about
Settling my claim, There is no rest
for the the weary, but I will meet
these people in eternity. My kitchen
    cabinets are pitiful!

The curtain on the shell game that State Farm plays with HAAG Engineering against their insured\’s on property damage claims may have been pulled back just a little bit farther after the EA Renfro adjusters and sisters Kerri and Cori Rigsby accused the company of ordering biased engineering reports to minimize or deny Hurricane Katrina claims.

Everyone knows that State Farm and HAAG have been in bed together for years in order for State Farm to stand behind their stated company policy of \”paying what they owe and nothing more.\”

I hope I live long enough to see what some may say are \”white collar\” criminals in stripes.

As Don Henley says, \”you can steal more money with a pen than with a gun…\”

I am the attorney representing the Oklahoma Class members referenced in the article which comments were posted on. I am interested in hearing from anyone who has information regarding State Farm\’s use of Haag Engineering and E.A. Renfro on claims arising from Katrina. In reading your comments it appears State Farm\’s claim handling practices are the same now as they were during our F5 tornado of May 3, 1999.

    Aren\’t adjusters paid a % of the claim ?
Why would an adjusting company try to minimize claim dollars?

Adjusters are compensated based on how much they SAVE the insurance company from paying to clients. Private adjusters are paid differently.
