I dont\’t understand why our elected officials have such a difficult time resolving this issue when the manufacturers clearly state in their operator owners manuals that these atv vehicles are not intended or designed to operate on highways and clearly explain that they ARE off the road vehicles.
Well I\’m doing a thesis paper for English and I say that the law should be state enforced ( I do agree with your question/comment) and that the DMV must make it mandatory that in order to register and license a vehicle the owner/rider must take a safety course with approved \”certificate\” when they buy it as well
I think that Ken Carper is abusing his power with this issue.By banning everybody you are telling me you cant handle this. There are people that try to do right.Crossing the highway by a 15 year is not to much to ask for as long as he is knows the right way to do it.Some one under 15 should not be able to . They must be with someone who is 21 and they must take it across.People must understand that these are machines that will hurt you .I also think a person 21 should be able to ride on two lane high way if they have operaters up to 2 miles.ONLY if he is going to and from trails no joy riding.Im very strict on my boys and know that if they dont follow my rules they dont ride.15 year old children and under needs to be superfised.15 years old need to understand the dangers before there turned loose.The people working on these problems should be responceable atv riders not peole who dont ride or even have them
