The last sentence should have read, \”If Hall was following the law, she would still be here\”. Love how people swiftly blame everybody else and never accept any type of personal accountibility or responsibility.

You can say that again. But the reality is that personal responsibility is always pushed into the background and blame is passed on to someone else….

again, it\’s the society now days that is happy to lawsuit!…if she did not get alcohol from that bar, could she have gotten from somewhere else, or had someone purchase it for her. responsibility of the person should be the main issue. we tend to believe that if we keep moving the blame we don\’t have to be responsible. reminds me of the lawsuit w/the tobacco companies, yet i remember that the actual formula was held in secret between the tobacco companies and the federal government, but we can\’t sue the feds…yet, even the label back then said it was bad for your health….did people read the labels back then? they don\’t read them now…but it\’s back to the main issue, she knew that she was not legal to drink and mostly drink and drive. unfortunately she not only died in the accident, but her family has to live with the fact.
