Mark, the South has different kinds of (D) and (R) than the rest of the country – most (R) in the South are that way for their views on \”values\” but their business views are far to the left of (D) – hence the odd-sounding view of Trent Lott on this issue. Insurance companies have more (D) friends in the South than anywhere else because the (D)\’s tend to be pro-business.
Sound off NOW! Trent Lott, you and your White House Cronies bowed your heads and asked God to make you good lobbyists for the Insurance Carrier\’s.
What come\’s around seem\’s to affect you now. Welcome to what the poor, homeless, the people with less capital resouces have had to put up with for decades.
I wonder who Debbie voted for in 2004? The homeless don\’t usually have insurance do they… so I don\’t understand the connection with the Katrina tragedy. Oh, I get it… it\’s the big, bad corporations that have caused poverty, etc.
Hey Debbie,
Why don\’t you move to China where the government takes care of all of the people?
As a former native of the Magnolia State (I left for a lot of good reasons), I have a few comments and questions:
1. Its a shame what the lawyers and their bed fellows, the politicians of both parties have done to the legal system not only in MS but all across the U.S. They prey and feed on poor, ignorant people that have a sense of entitlement that \”By God, somebody owes me something and I\’m, going to get it\”. Now with Lott and his brother-in-law feeding at the same trough; don\’t look for things to improve soon.
2. Beyond tort reform that is certainly needed; when will the politicians begin work on a workable national health care insurance system that is desperately needed?
3. Finally, what about our biggest insurance crisis of all; insuring that Social Security, Medicare and our pension plans will be there when we need it?
Just a few vitally important questions that we\’ll probably never get answers to.
Close, but by no means the Chesterfield (cigarette) ace for brians of the USA.
Why don\’t you get your head up out of your ***! Oh, I get it your the Representative from State Farm Insurance, the Illinois Corporation that does the LA Bomba with Health Net.
Say do you know the difference between bone and Daniel Boone?
How did you arrive at that conclusion? He is a republican BIG TIME, with his foot way in his mouth …sounds like a republican to me. I hve no idea how being republican became such a god-like status and democrats are the devils-incarnate. But he is your guy, and you gotta dance with the one who brung ya! He was pro-business until the shoe is on his foot. Now he\’s on the side of the \”little guy\” ? and because he is one of the \”little guys\” because he is getting screwed by his big business friends? It\’s all about money, folks, not political party or religion or right and wrong or truth and justice. This is the part of capitalism that the rich ignore….until it hits them…right in the wallet!

If those people read their policy they wouldn\’t be in the trouble they are in.
Good luck because 2006 cane season is coming your way.
Trnet is a hypocrite of the first order ……
This jerk is a Republican? He sounds more like a democrat to me.

…For once having to live with the repercussions of his own decision.
