    Of course Citizens is a \”for profit\” entity, but it is tax exempt as a State Agency. There\’s a difference. They can only wish for a profit to really rebuild reserves (\”capital\”). Sorry,… I used a seven letter word.

    How did Citizens go from a $1.7 million deficit to having a $2 billion reserve BEFORE it floated these bonds?

    Not even Tom Gallagher could be that creative with accounting.

    They have written a boat load of business in the last year but not $2 billion in profit.
