Not forced to live there says:
    Like or Dislike:
    Thumb up 0
    Thumb down 0

It is easy to point fingers but when you do, 3 of them point back at you. If you live on the coast/in hurricane prone areas, AND your home is worth more than you can insure, you have to be prepared to pay for the difference if the insurance that applies does not cover the full amount of the loss. It appears we now know what is going on; he wants to get everything paid for by someone else, regardless of whether or not it was covered on the policy and rather than acknowledge that he knew he would have out of pocket costs, he wants to make a big deal out of it and drag everyone through the courts for months or years (costing everyone more money in the long run). You bet that is the kind of person we need representing us and exactly why we are in the shape we are; free lunch, something for nothing with too few of us to pay the resulting costs.
