Stop wasting tax payer money and just force them to pay and get the hell out of Florida.

What regulator licensed these guys and then didn\’t keep an eye on them as they grew at lightning speed? They must have failed IRIS tests? Did the regulator fail to conduct financial exams?

I herd last night on the news that POE went to bankruptcy. My homeowerners insurance is with them and I just renewed my policy last March. How true is this and if this is true how could I be affected.

My husband & I have had Poe Insurance for many, many years and Southern Family and we have not had any problems at all.

They work with us on a 2 payment schedule on our homeowners and when we were hit from Francis, they were right there and \”on top\” of things and very consiencious. I can call, fax or e-mail and get a response within 24 hours. I would like to hope people would give them the consideration that they give us.

Most of these complaints could possibly be because the complainers either have not gotten the money, they \”think\” they should, or they are fraudulent customers and greedy and want their whole house done for \”free\”. That is where the fraud comes in. I have seen some people even destroy their property to get money they do not deserve to get. Sad, huh…but their are people in this world that are like that.

I would check into these things before shutting them down. Get all of the facts before passing judgement.

Thank you for letting me have my say in this matter.

    Sincerely,

Has anyone considered that maybe the recent increase was due to the involvement of the state? When they came under supervision I\’m sure there was at least a temporary disruption in their authority to issue payments — state has to approve everything in such cases.
