I watched \”Rainmaker\” by John Grisham last night and it reminded me of the ugly side of human behavior. Where do we draw the line? What will it take to empower the American homeowner with a chance. I, as a general contrator of substantial credibility, find myself helping elderly homeowners who are being preyed upon like ignorant children daily. You tell me how you can sleep at night knowing that the almighty dollar rules your life. Make no mistake… your day is coming. I say hooray to the whistleblower and every other link in the chain that has the guts to face up to the ugly reality of big business that is preying upon our mothers, sisters, brothers, fathers, cousins etc. Hooray!!!

Yeah, the wistleblower needs to tell people to stop trying to skimp in their insurance. Insurers can pay all the money in the world but they\’d still get sued, so why go out of their way?

Get Real!!! Homeowners Insurance does not and will not cover Floods. It does not matter if the water was driven by wind or not. It does not matter if the leavies were breached, over-loaded etc, etc, etc. If the insurance industry loses any of these claims, I hope that they pull out of all coastal areas!!! That should get everbody\’s attention!!! Each & every homeowner should read their policy & sign a waiver stating that they read it! I have been in this business for 20 years and I am sick & tired of the whining from property owners after every hurricane & flood. If you don\’t want to buy Flood Insurance from the NFIP or a direct writer (few & far between) and if you don\’t want to look into excess flood coverage, then that is your problem and not the insurance industry\’s.
