Talk about adverse selection! A safe bet is that the insureds will not be paying a commensurate premium for the risk. The tax payer is guaranteed to be the patsy in this sham and apparently the tax payers have no say in whether they want to take the “risk”.

Totally. The fact that the HRA was the only account with the deficit should make any reasonable person realize that people in windy areas don’t pay enough premiums.
I just love to get surcharged so that some people can enjoy life on the beach!

Ricker indicates the “real” problem was “not enough qualified adjusters” when in reality when those qualified adjusters contacted Citizens to offer their services, they were shut out.
Perhaps he should watch his own house a little better since his 2nd in command,COO Hulsebusch just resigned for taking bribes from a Citizens contractor. Anyone want to wager that it involved adjusting companies????????????
