Sugarcane Producers Not Sweet on Hurricanes

    I thought most of the sugarcane was grown well in the southern part of the state (by LaBelle, Clewiston, and around the Lake). Most of the hurricanes went north of that, so why hurricane damage, unless from too much rain?
