Hi, I purchased a Nissan Maxima from a local dealership in 1995. During the ownership I discovered by previous owner that State Farm had totaled the car only 6 months after he purchased it. When I bought it the title did not indicate this. I had a lot of mechanical problems with this car until I finally traded it in. Can anybody help?
CHECK WITH THE STATE A/G’S OFFICE. YOU MIGHT HAVE A DECEPTIVE TRADES PRACTICVE CASE AGAINST THEM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU CALL STATE FARM H/O DIRECTLY, AND SEE IF THEY CAN OR WILL DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. IF NOT, THEN FOLLOW UP WITH THE STATE A/G’S OFFICE AND POSSIBLEY THE FEDERAL FTC.
