The rate hikes for some Florida Insureds has already begun. Two weeks after Ivan sweeped through Santa Rosa County, and before my claim’s adjuster had even scoped my property damages, I received my new premium statement. My homeowner’s carrier graciously increased my coverage amount by $2,000, but also increased my yearly premium by approximtely 30%. Thankfully I live twenety five miles from the Gulf Mexico and not in a flood zone.

Not to mention surcharge people for living in a flood zone.

    Scott,
If you know of a company that can file for rate increases, get approval for said increases, and generate and mail a renewal statement including those rate increases in less than 6 months, I would like you to share the name of it with us!
