THEY ARE NOT HANDLING MY CLAIM PROPERLY. MY ADJUSTER REFUSED TO LOOK AT DAMAGE IN MY ATTIC. HE WONT EVEN RETURN MY AGENTS CALLS TO HIM ALSO DID NOT INCLUDE ALL OF THE DAMAGE IN HIS REPORT . I ASKED HIM FOR A BUISNESS CARD HE SAID HE DIDNT HAVE ANY. IASKED HIM FOR HIS NUMBER SO I COULD CALL AND FAX HIM MY ESTIMATES. HE SAID HE WOULD CALL AND GIVE IT TO ME LATER BUT NEVER DID. HE THEN SENT A CHECK THAT WAS ABOUT $9250 SHORT. THEN SAYING YOUR CLAIM HAS BEEN CLOSED I HEAR THEY ARE DOING THIS TO A LOT OF PEOPLE.. ARE THEY BROKE

We can understand that Allstate Floridian adustors and claims people must be busy indeed. What we can’t understand is their absolute stonewalling after we supplied documents they requested and the passage of 26 days; and four follow-up from us with absolutely no response.

Even a form postcard or computer-generated, form call would stave off our feelings of disappointment, anger and insult.

Their corporate communications people must be the most frustrated -or rude, uncaring and ignorant – in the insurance field.

Allstate should be more understanding of the needs of its policyholders. If they did not have our payments each month, they would surely be without an income. Attempting to resolve any automobile claim issues (when you are clearly the VICTIM & NOT AT FAULT) is absolutely frustrating and bewildering. The adjuster is very rude & seems to know more than the auto repair specialist! Demanding that the shop repairs a vehicle that is considered a total loss by the offender’s insurer is so absurd, yet the “GOOD HANDS PEOPLE” are determined to choke me until I agree to their repair contract. Needless to say, the auto facility is very upset with Allstate and refuses to perform substandard work. This is going to be a very interesting legal case. Seems that State Farm (at fault) has their limits & Allstate will not repair past those limits (my insurer, to my regrets). I wonder what all those premiums I have paid supported – someone’s expensive corporate lifestyle? I can barely afford the gas & phone bills in trying to resolve this issue.
