Wow this article really misrepresents this Tree Service and the owner Brian Tuten. Over the past ten years Strong Arm Tree Service has helped hundreds of people in distress from a fallen 1000 pound Oak tree leaning on a house to helping a kid get his kitten out of a tree. Most people who have ever had work done by Strong Arm Tree Service knows Brian as the kind of guy that would give his shirt of his back to help someone out. Brian has some serious allogations against him on this one. Looks like a scape goat for a politcal campaign strategy for Charlie Crist. Doing some research on this one, apparently the lady repeatedly called Brian over the phone and described a fallen tree in her yard and a qoute was given over the phone to her by Brian. She was given a $1500-$2000 dollar estimate for work to be done. Brian was charged with price gouging for an estimate done over the phone? Sounds a little fishy. The police arrested Brian and confiscated his checks from the work he had completed earlier in the week plus his equipment and the cash he had in his wallet. I feel bad for his workers who won’t get paid. Police then struck a deal with him that he would not file a civil suit against them so that he would get released out of jail, that seems odd. Then they want to charge him with insurance fraud, Well they might as well charge the lady who called because she would have to report it to her insurance company first. Hope someone can help Brian out on this one. Good Case for an up and coming Lawyer. I would counter sue them all Brian !
