I hired a \”public adjuster\” after recieveing an extremely low allowance from my insurance company for damages sustained in hurricane charley. We signed contract, he took pictures, and that was it! After months of calling and calling him and getting no responce I hired an attorney to follow up my claim with the insurance carrier. The public adjuster had forwarded a copy of the contract to the insurance company, so all checks have his name on them. he will not endorse them without collecting his 10%. He recovered nothing for me, the attorney did. Do I have legal recourse in going after him for breach of contract?
