Bridium Issues Release of New System

October 2, 2003

Atlanta-based Bridium, a technology provider and custom services company to the insurance industry, recently issued a new release of its unique browser based “Claims3” system for multi-line claims processing to Version 5.0

The Internet-based application, which provides core claims administration and workflow tools, including workers’ compensation benefits and compliance administration, subrogation and salvage, imaging and document management, and can be integrated with legacy systems and third party information sources, now includes additional functionality.

The system links users with ISO’s ClaimsSearch using their Universal Format 5.1. Reports, returned electronically, instantly update the Claims3 file, displaying information related to the same claimant or indicating a negative, “no matching claims” response.

Bridium also introduced on-line consolidated payments and forms distribution.

Claims3 Consolidated Payments allows disbursements to be paid in a single transaction but applied individually to the claim file. The feature is also integrated into the Provider Bill Audit functionality in Claims3, so that audit and PPO fees can be automatically consolidated into a single payment. Claims3 v5.0 has also added data fields and integrated mapping tables, which enable clients to export data in full compliance with DCI, ICR and USR reporting standards.
