    Here’s a thought-go back to West Africa and complain to your government that has allowed the disease to spread unchecked for decades. See what that gets you. He never should have been allowed into the U.S.-he came here knowing he was sick.

    does the patient have a responsibility to mention to the doc: “hey, by the way, I just came from west africa last week and I think there are sick people there I may have had contact with”?

    The cynic in me thinks this is a lawyer “talking in the shadows” who clearly sees this first case and death in the USA fraught with inconsistencies and handling. Rather than accept responsibility, the first move is always to question the system.

    I agree with the first two posters on this site and think it should be left at that.
