Good move. The insurance market in LA has always been a loss loser. Cheats and fraud seem to permeate everything that goes on down there. People are more interested in scamming the system than making an honest living. I recall back in the 1980’s when the homeowner insurance scam was to put a trailer on blocks and have the agent write an HO3 on it for a couple hundred thousand dollars. Then it would suddenly burn down.
