Why does it take NINE DUI’s to take meaningful action?

Not certain what the cost of incarceration is in Texas but recent US average is just under 30K. The tax payers of Texas will spend $240,000 in 2012 dollars to lock this jerk up if he lasts 80 years. At least the good news is he is not likley to last that long. What a shame all becouse he can not control himself.

Bob, I think that would be $2,400,000 at $30,000 per year for 80 years, but in my opinion any amount of money would be worth it to keep this drunk off the streets. It’s very fortunate he hasn’t killed anyone. He’s been caught 9 times, but how many times has he really been on the roads driving under the influence? The streets of Texas are safer with this LOSER locked up!
