Sounds like a school looking for a freedom of speech lawsuit. I can see the school expressing its disapproval but withholding a diploma that had already been earned based on the use of a word that is not censored by the fcc is extreme. Good luck in court guys.

While I agree the semantics make this stupid, she had to turn her speech in for approval by the school, they made their change on it and handed it back to her to be read with their change. The problem, which I see more and more, is that she did NOT follow directions. This is her start into the real world and she’s still not following directions. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO PEOPLE? You can get fired for not following directions, right?
