OK I”m stupid 40 +yrs in the oil field and still do not see or understand why it is Halliburton’s fault. So one of you geniuses who that never been closer to a drlg rig than the convience store gas pump pls explain it to me. Something specific. Did halliburton present a tested cement formulation? Yes. Did BP make modifications to it and tell Halliburton to use it per BP instruction and approval? Yes. Did halliburton recommend 21 pipe centralisers? Yes. Did Halliburton give warning in writing to BP that to use less the cement job would probably fail.? Yes. Did BP use the full 21 pipe centralisers? NO. BP used only 6. To insure quality of cement placement did BP run a Cement Bond Log? NO. Did BP do a pressure test of cement? NO. Did BP recement Temporary Abandonment Plug when negative pressure test results were faulty? NO. Did Halliburton give orders to displace to seawater? NO. It was BP’s well , BP’s oil and NO ONE BUT BP APPROVES. MADE DECISIONS AND GAVE ORDERS . ANY AND ALL CONDITIONS ON THE RIG WAS WITH BP’s APPROVAL.
BP is playing a FOOL’s game crying gross negligence, in court indefense Halliburton will prove the gross negligence of BP
