They don’t call these things “donorcycles” for nothing. They are in no way equal to an automobile in terms of safety. They offer no protection for even minor collisions. They are extremely difficult to see in a car’s “blind spot”. I have no problem sharing the road, but they should understand they’re riding at their own risk. In a collision between a car and a cycle…..bet on the car.
