September 27, 2010

A 3.3-magnitude earthquake has been reported in southern Oklahoma.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake was detected two miles northwest of Ravia in Johnston County about 6:20 a.m. Sept. 25.

There were no reports of damage or injuries with the temblor.

Researchers say earthquakes with magnitudes between 2.5 and 3.0 are typically the smallest felt by humans.
