An otherwise healthy six month old infant doesn’t just suddenly develop pneumonia and die. Once again it’s a single parent situation making a shameless attempt to make some quick money. The coroner’s report will sink this case as it does’t even list exposure to chemicals as a contributing factor in the C.O.D.
That’s easy to say, but as the litigation continues to drag and defense cost mount up, they may try to settle out, and then move on to the bigger problems plaguing them right now. Makes one wonder just how many more like suits have hit the BP bandwagon lately looking to take their shot now that the blood’s in the water so to speak.
…”Houston attorney Anthony Buzbee, who filed the lawsuit on behalf of the child’s mother, said doctors were unable to determine what caused the pneumonia diagnosed in 6-month-old Julius Provost.
“It’s almost like the baby drowned to death in its own fluids,” Buzbee said. “BP will continue to downplay this and say their monitors failed to pick this up.”…
